Aakiri to run Raj24
A new 24/7 Telugu news channel under Raj tv network will be launched in October. Launch is set on the eve of Dasara. Aakiri Ramakrishna rao, ex-All India Radio news editor will head the channel. Rajtv is presently operating an entertainment channel in telugu-Vissa. With Raj news the number of aspirants to launch new Telugu news channels has reached nine.
