Star shelved its telugu venture which was announced as a joint venture with Balaji telefilms ltd. Sources at Star office say that the ratings for Balaji serials have come down and the proposed tieup will not yeild any results if there is tieup with a single production group.The venture was named as Star Balaji. After this decision Balaji telefilms has started discussions with Kalitv promoted by Karunanidhi to counter Sun network.
